Ellen Smith, the editor and writer in chief of ‘Twenty Somethin’ ‘ was born in 1988 in Melbourne, Australia. Growing up in the respectable eastern suburbs, Ellen felt her life to have been a sheltered one until she left school and joined the world of work and relationships. Being an avid writer and performer, Ellen wanted to share her experiences of life at twenty three in hope others may take something away from her experiences and, for her, to gain some perspective on life as it changes. The blog was started in late 2010 and is further being developed for other writers to contribute.

Ellen encourages conversation from her blogs and hopes that the reader shares their interactions with her via commenting. She encourages everyone to express themselves.

Ellen is the writer of novel “Making Up for Teenage Crime” and writes under the pseudonym Sugar Plum Witch, writing mainly about popular culture. Ellen is a dance instructor and personal trainer and still lives in Melbourne. Ellen also works as an actor and model.
